Abstract
In the present note we prove general asymptotic and Voronovskaya theorems for simultaneous approximation. These generalize the Voronovskaya type theorems obtained recently by Floater for the Bernstein operators, and previously by Heilmann and Muller for the Durrmeyer operators.
