Abstract
We examine the structure of the recent supersymmetric N = 1 models in which supersymmetry is spontaneously broken through a gravitational superhiggs effect leading to soft supersymmetry breaking in the low energy effective theory. Under the additional assumption of scale invariance for the low energy superpotential we find a general class of negative energy extrema (parallel solutions) which correspond to extrema of the modulus of the superpotential on a unit sphere. Such solutions allow for characteristics scalars at mass values independent of the superpotential, reflecting original dilation and U(1) invariances. Other massive scalars have masses related to the gauge boson masses.
