Abstract

Abstract This book analyses the European Community (‘EC’) competition rules applying to vertical agreements which fall both in and outside the scope of Commission Regulation (EC) No 2790/99 of 22 December 1999 on the application of Article 81(3) of the Treaty to categories of vertical agreements and concerted practices (‘Regulation 2790/99’ or ‘the Regulation’) and Commission Regulation (EC) No 1400/2002 of 31 July 2002 on the application of Article 81(3) of the Treaty to categories of vertical agreements and concerted practices in the motor vehicle sector (‘Regulation 1400/2002’).
