Abstract
RATIONALE: Peripheral blood is the most clinically accessible tissue for genomic analyses. Identification of genes which are equally affected by allergic asthma (AA) in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) and AA-targeted tissues such as airway brushing cells (ABC) potentially offer a novel noninvasive tool for the prediction of pathological changes in AA-affected airways.
