Abstract
This article explores the concepts of sex and gender to think through the traditional way of conducting research. Generally, the researchers have taken an androcentric perspective and, consequently, there is a lack of elements in their analysis. The paper proposes to change focus, arguing for the inclusion of a gender perspective in both research and teaching of Public International Law.
