Abstract

Female recovering alcoholics were compared with female non-problem drinkers and male recovering alcoholics on 2 locus of control measures and family dynamics. A significant difference was found between groups of recovering females and males regarding the measure of spousal fusion. Significant differences were found between the AA females and the non-problem drinking females on drinking related locus of control measures and family dynamics regarding spousal fusion and intimacy with parents.
