Abstract

This article presents a concise overview of geographical studies with a gender perspective in Argentina. It begins with a synthesis of the expression of feminism in Argentina and its connection with the country’s socio-historical and political contexts from the 1960s to the present, alongside a brief description of concurrent academic production. Subsequently, it analyzes the current state of degree training, research directions, and extension activities, then identifies future possibilities for the study of gender geography in Argentina.
