Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the attitudes and process which female managers solve problems, make decision and negotiate resolutions to conflicts. It explores the individual factor in negotiation, and tries to demonstrate a causal relationship among gender, national culture, and negotiation behaviors. The Taiwanese female managers' negotiating behaviors are the case in this study. This paper presents a research framework with identified variables after literature review. And the research will collect 240 to 300 samples total for questionnaires survey. The female mangers with minimum 5-year working experiences from City Women Business Council in three major cities of Taiwan - Taipei (north), Taichung (central), and Kaoshung (south), on 80 to 100 samples each, are the target of this study. The MANONA will be used to analyze the collected data. In addition, this study will make some suggestions and recommendations for practical negotiators and policy-makers.
