Abstract
To the Editor: Academic productivity, measured by published articles and research funding, is associated with higher academic rank.1 While the representation of women authoring dermatology publications in the United States increased from 1976 to 2019,2,3 female dermatologist involvement in randomized clinical trial (RCT) publications worldwide has not been studied. Our objective was to characterize gender trends in the authorship of RCT publications.
