Abstract

The files contain outputs from numerical simulations using a combination of the numerical models Geospace Environment Model of Ion-Neutral Interactions (GEMINI) and Satellite-beacon Ionospheric- scintillation Global Model of the upper Atmosphere (SIGMA). The outputs provide simulated time series of Global Positioning System (GPS) scintillations through density structures generated by the Kelvin Helmholtz instability (KHI), as explained in detail in the publication. The numerical codes used to generate the outputs are described in the following publications: • Zettergren, M., Semeter, J., & Dahlgren, H.
