Abstract
A study of 1,3-substituted dioxanes gave all the coupling constants between vicinal protons. These coupling constants are interesting because the valence angle is well determined in these compounds. The studied compounds also gave the magnitude of three coupling constants between geminal protons corresponding to different positions of the CH2 group in the molecule.
