Abstract
Mohs surgery has become the standard of care for cutaneous malignancies of the head and neck. Operating in these locations can induce intraoperative patient anxiety in an awake patient. Discomfort may be exacerbated by a bright surgical light and blood spatter in the patient's eyes.
