Abstract
Harmonic oscillators perturbed by Gaussian functions are useful for double minimum and circular minimum potential functions. The matrix elements of exp(-bξ2) are evaluated in closed form for the one-, two- and three-dimensional oscillators. Recursion relations among matrix elements are also obtained, which are more useful in computer programmes for finding energy levels.
