Abstract
This paper deals with a new method for the design and implementation of a gaussian pseudorandom generator with a specific power spectral density or autocorrelation function. The method is based on the central limit theorem. The mathematical analysis of the generator, which consists of a digital white-noise generator and correlation-shaping transversal filter, is given. Computer simulation and experimental results show that the required process is generated with high accuracy.
