Abstract

AbstractThe paper describes a novel method to group data points into clusters. Our method is derived from the assumption of Gaussian distribution of the points. We apply the clustering method to the well-known Iris flower data set and we suggest a nonlinear discriminant analysis of the data for a more sophisticated classification. To the best knowledge of the authors this paper shows the best classification result for the Iris data so far.
