Abstract

The value of the gravitational contribution to the chiral anomaly of a spin-1/2 field in arbitrary dimension was originally elucidated using a Feynman diagram method and Pauli-Villars regularisation. In this paper that method is modified for use in conjunction with dimensional regularisation and then extended to the case of a spin-3/2 field. Using a non-local field redefinition the spin-3/2 gravitational anomaly is shown to be gauge independent within a class of gauges.
