Abstract

RATIONALE: The transcription factor GATA-3 is a key regulator of Th2 cell differentiation. Since Th2 cells play a principal role in the initiation and manintanance of allergic airway inflammation, GATA-3 represents a promissing target for therapeutic intervention.
