Abstract

Food, which was previously considered simply as a resources to meet the basic need, is increasingly being studied as one of the most important parts of the daily lives of people from different cultures.Food traditions are the object of cultural studies and are considered within the framework of the study of the culture of everyday life.The article considers the traditional Vietnamese feast as a phenomenon of culture, reflected in proverbs and sayings, in a figurative and aphoristic form conveying to us the socio-cultural forms of human behavior: rites, rituals, ceremonies.
