Abstract
• Asymptomatic gastroesophageal reflux disease can cause laryngospasm is sleep. • Laryngospasm related arousals can lead to NREM parasomnias in someone with disturbed N3 sleep. • Sleep related laryngospasm should be on the differential for both NREM parasomnias and SHE.
