Abstract

Background Linitis plastica due to metastatic involvement of the stomach wall is rare and most commonly seen in patients with breast carcinoma. Endosonography has been shown to be accurate in the diagnosis of gastric linitis. Patient A 61-year-old man who presented with haemorrhagic cystitis. Results Secondary linitis plastica due to bladder cancer. Conclusion In this patient, the endoscopic ultrasonography pattern met all the criteria for a primary gastric linitis plastica and, therefore, cannot be used to differentiate this condition from metastatic disease.
