Abstract

We describe a case of a 59 year old male with a mass at the minor papilla found on EGD. Evaluation included cold forceps biopsy and EUS. Biopsy results were confirmed by Armed Forces Institute of Pathology and supported gastric foveolar metaplasia arising in gastric heterotopia. We believe that this is the only reported case of gastric foveolar metaplasia of the minor papilla. “I am a military service member (or employee of the U.S. Government).
