Deniz Uyak: NO financial relationship with a commercial interest Abstract Origin (Authors) Prof. Dr. Deniz Uyak/ Medical One Hamburg/ Germany In a Clinical-Study we monitored 930 overweight-patients with Intragastric-Balloon (Medsil-Balloon: 536 cases/ 6 Month duration and Spatz3-Balloon: 394 cases/ one year duration) treatment in 7 years / 2014 to 2020). BMI of the patients was over 27. The average age was 46 years (81 % female patients/ 19 % male patients). We considered the number of total medical complications such as bleeding and perforation of the esophagus/ stomach, intestinal obstruction, dehydration, electrolyte-loss, renal-insufficiency, intolerance to balloon treatment and pregnancy.
