Abstract

AbstractOxidovanadium triisocyanate was generated from the heterogeneous reaction of gaseous vanadium trichloride oxide with silver cyanate and studied for the first time in the gas phase. The reaction processes were studied in situ by ultraviolet photoionization mass spectrometry combined with quantum chemical calculations and ultraviolet photoelectron spectrometry. The geometric and electronic structures were characterized and discussed. (© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2008)
