Abstract
The schematic of the gas-mixing installation with a free-piston setter of the initial components' pressure ratios was investigated for preparing binary gas mixtures in a wide range of concentrations certified by their preparation procedure without subsequent chemical analysis. Relationships suitable for a substantiated selection of design parameters for pressure-ratio setters was provided.
