Abstract

The Library Services Committee of the American Gas Association is the vehicle through which the gas industry library network operates. The network was formed in 1972 and has grown to be an active committee of 32 members from the United States and Canada. During these years, it has developed both formal and informal channels of communication, strengthened the bibliography of natural gas-related topics, and improved the competence of its member libraries.
