Abstract

In this work it is demonstrated how by the choice of appropriate operating conditions good qualitative and quantitative separations of mixtures of six inorganic volatile chlorides can be achieved. The resolution, at different temperatures, of pairs of the chlorides: silicone tetrachloride, germanium tetrachloride, phosphorus trichloride, phosphorus oxychloride, tin tetrachloride and arsenic trichloride, with the liquid phases, Silicone oil DC 550, Kel-F oil 10, Apiezon L, Silicone rubber UC-W 98 and Kel-F wax, is studied.
