AbstractMedia (MIC: 13.1 SIC: 711 NAIC: 11110)Gannett is a news and information company that publishes newspapers and operates broadcasting stations. Co. is also engaged in marketing, commercial printing, a newswire service, data services, and news programming. Co. has operations in 43 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, the U.K., and in certain European and Asian markets. Co. is the largest U.S. newspaper group in terms of circulation, with 101 daily newspapers, including USA Today, more than 750 non‐daily publications and USA Weekend, a weekly newspaper magazine. In the U.K., Co.'s subsidiary Newsquest publishes nearly 300 titles, including 17 daily newspapers. Co. owns and operates 21 television stations in major markets.
