Abstract

The linear polarization sensitivity of a single rectangular Ge(Li) detector, 4 × 2.5 × 0.35 cm 3 has been measured. It has been used to study the polarization of the prominent γ-rays emitted in the 100Mo(α, 2n) 102Ru reaction.
