Abstract

New results on the time histories and energy spectra of gamma ray bursts are presented from the SIGNE experiments. The KONUS instruments continue to detect low and high energy features in the energy spectra of bursts, and show evidence for a luminosity‐temperature correlation in burst time histories and spectra. In addition, they reveal that the 1979 Mar 5 burst source is still active. A summary is presented of some relevant observational facts concerning the time histories, energy spectra, logN‐logS relation, and positions and distances of bursters.
