Abstract

Gamma-gamma directional correlation measurements have been made in the decay of ${\mathrm{Tb}}^{160}$-${\mathrm{Dy}}^{160}$, for the cascades, 87-197 keV, 87-877 keV, 87-960 keV, 87-1175 keV, 197-680 keV, 197-1250 keV, and 298-877 keV. The corresponding angular correlation functions obtained are as follows: $W{(\ensuremath{\theta})}_{87\ensuremath{-}197\mathrm{keV}}=1+(0.100\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.001){P}_{2}(cos\ensuremath{\theta})+(0.0087\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.001){P}_{4}(cos\ensuremath{\theta}).$ $W{(\ensuremath{\theta})}_{87\ensuremath{-}877\mathrm{keV}}=1\ensuremath{-}(0.092\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.001){P}_{2}(cos\ensuremath{\theta})+(0.300\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.01){P}_{4}(cos\ensuremath{\theta}).$ $W{(\ensuremath{\theta})}_{87\ensuremath{-}960\mathrm{keV}}=1\ensuremath{-}(0.07\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.003){P}_{2}(cos\ensuremath{\theta})+(0.0009\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.001){P}_{4}(cos\ensuremath{\theta}).$ $W{(\ensuremath{\theta})}_{87\ensuremath{-}1175\mathrm{keV}}=1+(0.133\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.04){P}_{2}(cos\ensuremath{\theta})+(0.0700\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.012){P}_{4}(cos\ensuremath{\theta}).$ $W{(\ensuremath{\theta})}_{197\ensuremath{-}680\mathrm{keV}}=1+(0.200\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.002){P}_{2}(cos\ensuremath{\theta})+(0.089\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.001){P}_{4}(cos\ensuremath{\theta}).$ $W{(\ensuremath{\theta})}_{197\ensuremath{-}1250\mathrm{keV}}=1+(0.09\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.001){P}_{2}(cos\ensuremath{\theta})\ensuremath{-}(0.152\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.002){P}_{4}(cos\ensuremath{\theta}).$ $W{(\ensuremath{\theta})}_{298\ensuremath{-}877\mathrm{keV}}=1\ensuremath{-}(0.126\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.02){P}_{2}(cos\ensuremath{\theta})\ensuremath{-}(0.008\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.01){P}_{4}(cos\ensuremath{\theta}).$
