Abstract
The method of Stranski and Paped to produce monocrystals by solidification of metal droplets in vacu and the capillary method of Kaischew, Blisnakoff and Scheludko to electrolytically obtain silver monocrystals were applied to set up electrolytic cells which permit to study the electrochemical metal deposition on monocrystals and on single crystallographic planes. Preliminary investigations on completely-grown and on anodically-etched silver monocrystals are described and discussed.
