Abstract
Schröeder et al. have recently proposed from magnetoreflection experiments that electrons occupy states near point K in the Brillouin zone of graphite, whereas previous studies had assigned holes at this point. Analysis of galvanomagnetic data indicates that majority carrier behavior favors the new assignment. Minority carrier behavior for natural and synthetic crystals is discussed.
