Abstract

This paper presents galloping measurements conducted on a high-voltage overhead test line equipped with a single conductor as well as a second configuration of three conductors with interphase spacers. Galloping was induced using D-sections over the conductor. One of the results highlighted in this study is that wind azimuth may strongly influence the galloping amplitude.
