Abstract

Oxidation by galactose oxidase followed by reduction with tritiated sodium borohydride appears to be an excellent tool to label a protein. By this technique, we have labeled an histamine blocking protein. We try now to modify the experimental conditions in order to have a clear cut between specific and non specific binding of this protein to guinea-pig ileum.
