Abstract

The growing demand for anti-terrorism and security measures has fuelled the rapid uptake of automated biometric recognition systems for surveillance. Primarily, law enforcement officers are seeking systems that can infer people's identity by measuring their physiological or behavioural traits, which can be captured by surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras.
