Abstract

Gait abnormalities are considered among the most consistent predictors of falls and are a potentially modifiable risk factor. In this review we briefly present the gait evaluation methods used in our research center for assessing fall risk in older adults. Clinical and quantitative gait assessments are clinically relevant approaches to assess fall risk in older adults in both clinical and research settings.
