Abstract

Molecular communication is an advanced research area that extends in every field of medical to military and information theory to industry. However, it is found that the molecular communication process becomes more reliable when it becomes the diffusion-based molecular communication in fluid. In our literature, for the first time, the VLSI implementation of diffusion-based molecular communication (DBMC) system is presented. In this paper, we implement simulation results for the delay and gain of the concentration of the molecules in the DBMC system over the distance using Verilog HDL in Xilinx ISE 14.5. In particular, we consider the molecular communication system for sending molecules to the human heart. Besides, delay and gain simulation result are obtained for the two sets of values of the distance and temperature.
