Abstract

Ga-67 imaging in a 52-year-old man with lung cancer showed intense uptake in the upper mediastinum. The patient had had an esophagogastrostomy with interposition of free jejunum for esophageal cancer 5 years earlier. Ga-67 activity in the interposed free jejunum was found to be responsible for the abnormal uptake in the upper mediastinum.
