Abstract
We report five patients with immune-mediated rippling muscle disease (iRMD) and AChR-antibody positive myasthenia gravis (MG), in whom no germline caveolin-3 gene mutations were found. In addition, a long-term follow-up of two patients with combined iRMD and MG will be presented. Five new patients (1 female, 4 male, aged 35–69 years, mean 59,2y) with myasthenic iRMD are presented. In all patients, significant generalized, exercise- and rippling-induced myalgia combined with generalized MG was present.
