Abstract

The g - 2 experiment at Fermi National Laboratory is planned to refine previous measurements of the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, reducing systematic errors and generate constraints on possible physics beyond the standard model. This paper describes some of the ways in which a four-fold reduction in systematic errors will be achieved.
