Abstract
This text documents and reflects on #FYR3_W04D 2021, a real-time outdoor public performance of making raku ceramics. Staged as a witch process ritual, the performance demonstrated the raku dynamics of fast extreme heat and rapid flash cooling, incorporating as source code the Zen wabi aesthetics of chance, imperfection, simplicity, and flawed beauty, but also the problematics and contradictions of performative spectacle and distractionary entertainment.
