Abstract

AbstractRapid evolution of cloud services led to the growth of many cloud services today. Selection of these cloud services has appeared as an important challenge for users and decision makers of an organization which further led to the evaluation of these services on the basis of the need of the users. Due to the availability of a huge number of cloud services having same functionalities in the plethora of cloud service providers, it becomes difficult to choose the suitable and optimal cloud service. Abundant articles have been already proposed in the last few years. But present literature procedure limited evaluation criteria while neglecting many decisive factors. In this paper, we proposed the formulation of this gap as a fuzzy TOPSIS-based model that evaluates cloud computing services. A case study on cloud computing services is worked to demonstrate the workability of the proposed model. Finally, the validation of the proposed model is done through sensitivity study for its robustness.KeywordsCloud computingCCS selectionFuzzy set theoryMCDMTOPSIS
