Abstract

A new concept of a fuzzy random variable, suggested by quantum mechanics, implies a generalization of standard stochastic processes. It is proved that such general processes, called fuzzy stochastic processes, satisfy a version of the Kolmogorov existence theorem. It is also shown that any fuzzy stochastic process can be faithfully represented by a standard stochastic process.
