Abstract

With the rising global warming of the atmosphere, Electric Vehicles' growing interest as a more environmentally-friendly option for internal combustion engine drive cars. Also, more demand for EVs is causing a need for charging facilities and battery recharging comfort. Charging at high speed makes it easier for the customer. Off-board chargers have to be carefully looked at this need for fast refueling created a shift in EV charging technology to focus on DC facilities. This theory uses fuzzy logic to regulate energy consumption and EV battery charger using SEPIC and BIDC (Bidirectional) converter. The Fuzzy logic control is used to merge the merits of steady current control and constant voltage control. Fuzzy logic is well-suited for such implementations. This approach will help model the dynamics of nonlinear systems. Simulink calculated and executed the solar-power system using photovoltaic cells, DC-DC converters, batteries, and fuzzy logic controllers.
