Abstract
Different interpretations of fuzzy conditional statements in decision making for fuzzy systems control are considered. Some of their attributes which embarrass their application in this area are analysed. A list of demands for fuzzy implication and a compositional rule of inference is suggested. It is proposed to apply Mamdani's fuzzy implication with Mizumoto's ▴-composition. Some properties are proved and an example is discussed.
