Abstract

This paper deals with a fuzzy drive expert system for an auto-cruise car. This system consists of four rule sets such as environment recognition rules, driving control rules, learning-evaluation rules, and management meta-rules. Those rules are hierarchically constructed respectively. Also this system is structured with five units, the knowledge rule base, and a man-machine interface. The control unit of those manipulates the steering and the throttle for the direction control and the speed control of the vehicle.
