Abstract
この度の新型コロナウイルスのワクチン開発に代表されるように、今や革新的新薬のシーズの多くはアカデミアやベンチャーが創出しており、製薬企業との協働により開発・製造され実用化されている。しかしながら、日本は、起業を志す人材の育成、ベンチャーキャピタルによる投資、製薬企業への橋渡しなど様々な課題を抱えており、創薬力の低下が懸念されている。
