Abstract
The college of Information Technology at University of Bahrain conducted a job market study to investigate the Information Technology job market needs at the Kingdom of Bahrain. Twelve fields have been identified to be the most needed by the global IT job market. The most important job roles have been identified for each field. An online survey has been distributed to employers at different key organizations in Bahrain. The study revealed that the fields of IT Systems and Projects Management, Security, and System Analysis, Design, and Development are the most fields in demand in Bahrain for employment. Required job roles for each of those fields have been also identified.
