Abstract
Technological advances in space electron beam processing could fundamentally alter how spacecraft and space stations are built. The primary topics covered in this essay are the application circumstances for electron beams in space, the research situations for electron beam welding, additive manufacturing, and surface modification, and an analysis of the potential future applications for this technology. It demonstrates the viability of space applications of electron beam processing technologies.
