Abstract
In recent times, we have studied the decay of a large number of nuclear systems formed in heavy ion reactions at E<10 MeV/A and carried out the comparative analysis of evaporation residues (ER), intermediate mass fragments (IMF), heavy mass fragments (HMF), fusion-fission (FF) and non-compound nucleus processes in different mass regions of periodic table. We have investigated fine/substructure of fission fragments, α-nucleus structure, isotopic dependence, barrier modification etc. using the dynamical cluster decay model (DCM), where effects of deformations and orientations are duly incorporated. Beside this, the preformed cluster model (PCM) approach is applied to address the phenomena of cluster radioactivity.
